Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 June 2026

Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect your personal information when you visit the SonoFlow website or otherwise engage with us. We are committed to handling your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (“Privacy Act”) and the Australian Privacy Principles (“APPs”).

By using this website, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. This document is provided as general information about our privacy practices and does not constitute legal advice.

Who we are

SonoFlow is operated by Kinetix Health Pty Ltd (ABN 64 693 917 878) trading as SonoFlow (“SonoFlow”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). Our registered address is 3/1 Swanston Street, Bulleen, VIC 3105. You can reach our privacy contact at [email protected].

SonoFlow is an Australian radiology and ultrasound workflow platform used by imaging clinics. This Privacy Policy applies to personal information we collect through our website and in the course of our business operations. It does not govern the clinical or patient data that clinics manage within the SonoFlow platform — that information is handled on behalf of, and under the agreements and privacy obligations of, the relevant imaging clinic (see “Clinical and patient data” below).

Information we collect

We collect personal information that you provide to us and information generated automatically when you use our website, including:

  • Information you submit via contact, enquiry, or demo-booking forms, such as your name, email address, clinic or organisation name, phone number, and any message or details you choose to provide.
  • Usage and device data, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, referring URLs, and interactions with our website, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Correspondence that you exchange with us by email or other channels.

We do not seek to collect sensitive information (such as health information) about you through our website. Please do not submit sensitive or patient information through our public forms.

How we use your information

We use the personal information we collect to:

  • respond to your enquiries and arrange product demonstrations;
  • provide, maintain, and improve our website, products, and services;
  • communicate with you about SonoFlow, including updates relevant to your enquiry;
  • understand how our website is used and measure the performance of our marketing;
  • comply with our legal obligations and protect our legal rights.

We will only use your personal information for the purposes for which it was collected, for a related secondary purpose you would reasonably expect, or where you have otherwise consented or we are permitted or required by law.

Cookies, analytics & tracking

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, understand usage, and measure performance. The third-party technologies we use include:

  • LinkedIn Insight Tag — provided by LinkedIn, used for conversion tracking, analytics, and to help us understand the effectiveness of our advertising. This may involve LinkedIn setting cookies and collecting data about your visit.
  • Vercel Speed Insights — provided by Vercel, used to collect anonymised performance metrics so we can monitor and improve the speed and reliability of our website.

You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the website may not function as intended if you do so. These third parties process data in accordance with their own privacy policies.

Disclosure to third parties and service providers

We may disclose your personal information to trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our website and business, such as hosting, analytics, advertising, email, and customer-relationship providers. These providers are only permitted to use your personal information for the purposes of providing their services to us.

We may also disclose personal information where required or authorised by law, or to protect our rights, property, or safety and that of others. We do not sell your personal information.

Clinical and patient data

SonoFlow is a workflow tool used by imaging clinics. Any clinical or patient information handled within the SonoFlow platform is processed by us on behalf of the relevant clinic, which remains the entity responsible for that information. The collection, use, and disclosure of such clinical and patient data is governed by the clinic’s own privacy policy and its agreement with us, not by this website Privacy Policy. If you are a patient with a query about your clinical information, please contact your imaging clinic directly.

Data security and storage

We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. These steps include technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Overseas disclosure

Some of our service providers (including hosting, analytics, and advertising providers) may store or process personal information outside Australia. Where we disclose personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with the APPs. By providing your personal information to us, you acknowledge that it may be disclosed to and stored by recipients located overseas.

Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including to meet any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. When personal information is no longer required, we will take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.

Your rights under the APPs

Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you; and
  • Request correction of personal information that is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant, or misleading.

To make a request, contact us at [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before responding. In some circumstances we may decline a request as permitted by law, and we will explain our reasons where we do.

Complaints

If you believe we have breached the APPs or otherwise mishandled your personal information, please contact us at [email protected] so we can investigate and respond. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal obligations. The current version will always be available on this page, with the “Last updated” date revised accordingly. We encourage you to review it periodically.
